On the whole, the class chalet was a great success (:

I would hereby like to thank each and everyone of you who attended; you guys made this possible. I hope 2E1'09 stays with all of you forever.

To my two co-organisers, thank you very much for all your effort. You guys have the biggest credit. I love you guys and thank you.

The confirmed attendance pre-chalet was 29.
The actual attendance yesterday was 32 awesome people.

Thank you to those who decided to come last minute.

After this, I do hope there'll be more outings, even next year. It is on the 13th that we part, on the 13th that we move on to the next chapter of our lives. In lieu of the end of school term, we're having a chalet. Its the last 2E1'09 chalet.

The date will be 5th November - 6th November, meaning, its a 2D1N chalet.

The venue will be Costa Sands Resort - Pasir Ris.

Check-in time is 2.30pm. We'll try to check-in earlier. But for those who are not helping, please be at Pasir Ris MRT station by 3pm on Thursday, 5th November.

Hello(:

I don't know if anyone is going to read this, but still, here goes.

4 days.
We only have 4 more days left until the school term officially ends.
4 more days left to being part of the 2E1'09 family.

The past two years have flown by quickly, and now its time to part. I sincerely hope each and everyone of you will remember everything about and everyone in this class.

I'm sure it is Mr Lim's deepest wish to see us remember.

Remember the memories we had.
Remember the tears we cried, the laughter we shared.
Remember the times that are so hard to forget.

Be it sweet, bitter or sour, we bonded as one family.

So what if we aren't as sporty as the other classes?
So what if we aren't as disciplined as the others?
So what if we aren't as united as the others?

We are still one.

We disturb teachers, we create havoc, we work hard, we celebrate each victory and mourn each loss.

Can we ever forget, all those memories?

We went through ups and downs. Even though we're still in our own cliques, no one can deny that we've grown closer to each other.

We hate, we love. We quarrel, we fight.
But at the end of the day, we still have fun.

Who can ever forget, the first day of Sec 1?
The day when the tall teacher stepped into the class and introduced himself to us as Mr Lim Wee Keong.
From that day onwards, we became like a family. Every single one of us.

Can we ever forget, the CNY competitions?
Our mascots and notice boards?
The times where we stayed back to put in efforts for the class.

Can we ever forget, Zenite and Wink182?
The group of boys who have been recognised as class jokers.

Can we ever forget, the time where Zhi Shin spat on the chair?
The time where the enemity between Jared and Miss Krisnan was at its climax?

Can we ever forget, Miss Yati?
The times where all of us ganged up to GL her?

The guys. Can you forget, all of the games played?
Duel Master cards, Yo-Yos, PSPs.

The girls. Can you forget, all the fun you had?
The gossip sessions, the hyper days.

The class. Can you forget, all the memories?

4 more days, and we'll no longer be called 2E1.
4 more days, and we'll lose our register numbers of two years.
4 more days, and we'll no longer be able to step into the school as a Sec 2 student.
4 more days.

Treasure these four days.
It'll be last time we bond together as a class, the last time we learn as a family.

I hope that there'll be a class party. For the very last time. To celebrate our successes and losses in these two years.

Next year we'll be in different classes. But I hope all of you will remember the times you had for the first two years of Secondary education. I wish all of you all the best, to work hard and achieve your dreams.

Okay. I will be the one updating this blog about the upcome of our class outing yesterday, at Tampines Central Park.

I'm Jared, so I'll be blogging about what happened yesterday.

At around 8pm, when almost everyone has arrived, we proceeded with the games.
(PS : the earliest few reached at 6pm.)

As for the games, I wasn't there, so I'll get sayen/anqi to talk about the games.

After that, we went back to our spot and starting eating/drinking.
Many of us started burning candles, it turned out great.
We actually were only playing with candles and sparklers only, but after that, we went to burn dead leaves that fell from the trees, and even went to the letterboxes of the nearby blocks to get the Property Advertisements, you know, those that people would just toss it to the bottom of the letterboxes.
The burning part was damn fun, undescribable.
For those that went, you know how fun was that.
But for the people who didn't go, too bad ):

REGRET IT. IT WAS DAMN FUN.

After burning till around 9.30pm, we packed up and cleaned up the place.
Those that had to go home went on their own, and the rest of us went to the street soccer court. It was really dark and they used lightsticks to differentiate their teammates.
Vernice, Vincent and Anqi went to Mac @ Tmall to get food, and in the end took a whole lot of time finding their way back. They came back to the street soccer court at around 10:30, if im not wrong. While waiting for them, we sat at the street soccer court's spectator's seat, or whatever you call it.
Then we started talking about ghostly things, since it was really dark there.
As they came back, we dismissed from the place after getting our ordered food.

People who went for MRT went.
People who went for BUS went.
People who walked home went.

And in conclusion to this class outing :

10 out of 11 girls turned up.
16 out of 16 boys turned up.

Mr Lim turned up too.

So we could call this class outing as a successful.

The class chalet would be held on 11th June. It'll be at costa sands, Pasir Ris. We'll be reaching at around 11.30am - 12.30pm. You may want to reach around this time/later than this. If you reach earlier, you can help to prepare the things. You need to prepare approx $5 for the bbq. If you can, please bring utensils/food or drinks. The bbq will end around 9.30pm and we'll need to pack up and so the whole thing will end at around 10pm. Some people will be toning there. Class gathering

Class outing was a great success. Mr Lim & I wants to thank everyone who helped in a way or another. Especially those who woke up early to go get the things : Junkai, Jared & I. 3 bad things actually happened during the gathering. 1. Jared’s phone was soaked in the sea water and it’s spoilt. 2. Zhishin’s bike went missing. 3. Vanessa Khoo’s bike went missing. But everything had a happy ending except for Jared’s phone. I would also like to thank people who helped Zhishin to look for the bike. That should be the spirit of 2E1 :D And, we might be having a class chalet during the June holidays! :D Sorry we took the group photos after some of you have left because I totally forgot about it.
